Greenbrier's girls soccer season came to an end Tuesday after a 3-2 loss to Starr's Mill. For Lady Wolfpack senior Keri Wright, it wasn't the last soccer game she'll play.

On Tuesday, Wright signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Georgia College and State University. The future biology major said she'll join an old friend on the Lady Bobcat squad.
"I know Jamie Nevin. We played club together," Wright said. "That helped make the decision easier."
Nevin, a Grovetown resident and former Harlem girls soccer player, was on the same Augusta Arsenal team as Wright and is now a freshman at Georgia College and State University. Former Lakeside soccer player Amanda Wade is also on the Lady Bobcat team.
Greenbrier girls soccer coach Alex Heider said Wright's presence on the college squad will no doubt help the team.
"She's so versatile. She'll give her coach the opportunity to use her anywhere," Heider said. "This year she was primarily the anchor of our defense."
Wright, who played all four years on the Greenbrier varsity squad, served as a co-captain this season and totaled 18 goals and 10 assists in her high school career.
