The Farmington/Northwood Swim Team is seeking swimmers ages 4-18 to join their swim team for the summer. A parent meeting will take place Monday at Farmington Clubhouse at 6:30 p.m. for those interested. For information, visit www.thefins.net.

Fort licenses

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources will accept letters of application Tuesday-May15 for the random drawing for 250 permits for hunting and fishing on Fort Gordon. Letters should include the applicant's full name, address, Social Security number, date of birth and phone number. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older and possess a valid Georgia Hunter Safety card or its equivalent. Scouts golf tourney

The 21st annual Alltel Boy Scout Golf Classic will take place June 4 at Mount Vintage Plantation and Golf Club. The Lauderdale-format tournament will hold registration at 11:30 a.m., lunch at noon and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The cost is $500 for a four-man team or $125 for individuals, which includes door prizes and a steak dinner. Special-needs T-ball

T-ball for kids with special needs ages 4-18 years old will meet in Martinez starting in late May. This volunteer-based program is open to children in the CSRA, and neurotypical friends and siblings are welcome to join. Dedicated coaching volunteers and assistants are also needed. Golf tournament

The inaugural Knights Football Golf Tournament is scheduled for May 20 at the Gordon Lakes Golf Course. Registration and lunch will begin at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The captain's choice tournament costs $200 per team or $50 per player. Volleyball camp

Augusta Preparatory Day School's fifth annual summer volleyball camps will take place June 25-29. The middle school session (grades 5-8) will run from 9 a.m. to noon and the high school session (grades 9-12) will run from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $100 and includes a camp T-shirt. Volleyball camp

Registration is open for the seventh annual Greenbrier High School Volleyball Camp. The 17th annual Sure-Shot Basketball Camp will take place June 4-8 and June 11-15 at Lakeside Middle School. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon for children in grades 2-5 and from 1 to 4:30 p.m. for grades 6-9. Cost of the camp is $75.
