Children's concert

The Augusta Children's Chorale will present its spring concert, Generations, at 3 p.m. May 6 at Sacred Heart Cultural Center in Augusta. Tickets cost $10 and are available at the Chorale office or at the door. For information, call (706) 826-4718.

Bird banquet

Orlando trip

Rock dig

Graves Mountain, a former mine known for rare minerals, will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today for the semiannual Rock, Swap and Dig event. It's off U.S. Highway 378 between Lincolnton and Washington. For information, call (706) 359-3862.

Homecoming

Dunn's Chapel United Methodist Church, on Ridge Road at Ray Owens Road in Leah, will hold its 57th annual homecoming today at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Taylor.
