Carla Shelton, recently named as principal of Harlem Middle School, will meet students and parents from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday in the school auditorium.
The Maj. Gen. Ambrose Ransom Wright Camp 1914, Sons of Confederate Veterans, will hold a memorial service honoring all Columbia County veterans who served in the War Between the States at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Confederate Veterans monument in the Columbia County Memorial Gardens, behind the library in Evans.
