Confederate Day
The Maj. Gen. Ambrose Ransom Wright Camp 1914, Sons of Confederate Veterans, will hold a memorial service honoring all Columbia County veterans who served in the War Between the States at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Confederate Veterans monument in the Columbia County Memorial Gardens, behind the library in Evans.
School anniversary

Prep ArtsFest
Augusta Prep and the Artists Guild of Columbia County will hold its spring ArtsFest, a showcase for local and student artists, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the school, at 285 Flowing Wells Road, in Martinez. Symphony concert

Wine festival
The Second Annual CSRA Wine Festival will be held from 1-5 p.m. May 5 at the Evans Town Center Park, on North Belair Road at Ronald Reagan Drive. Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 at the gate, and are available at www.csrawinefest.com.
Stamp event
