Window for drawing of Fort Gordon fishing, hunting licenses opens soon

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources will start accepting letters of application in May for the random drawing for 250 permits for hunting and fishing on Fort Gordon.

Applications will be accepted May 1-15. The drawing is May 16.

Letters should request entry into the public access drawing for Fort Gordon and should include the applicant's full name, address, Social Security number, date of birth and telephone number.

Applicants must be 16 or older and must possess a valid Georgia Hunter Safety card or its equivalent.
