Church yard sale
Wesley United Methodist Church will hold its annual spring yard sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, 825 N. Belair Road, in Evans. All proceeds support missions.
School car wash
The Harlem High School cast of the May 2-5 production of the musical Grease will hold a car wash from 3-7 p.m. Friday at Advance Auto Parts on Wrightsboro Road, in Grovetown, with a "girls vs. greasers" competition to raise money for cystic fibrosis.
Services for the White Oak United Methodist Campground spring camp meeting will be held at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday, with preaching from the Revs. Bill Burch, Charles Broome and Roger Vest, and music provided by Burns Memorial, Philadelphia and Harlem United Methodist churches.
Cookin' for Kids
The 18th annual Cookin' for Kids fundraiser for Child Enrichment will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Daniel Field in Augusta. An oyster roast kick-off wil be held from 7-11 p.m. Friday. For information, go to www.cookinforkids.com.

The Maj. Gen. Ambrose Ransom Wright Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the private dining room of the Side Track Bar and Grill, at 4027 Washington Road. The speaker for Tuesday is David Moncus, commander of the SCV camp in Waynesboro. He will discuss the Vicksburg Campaign.
