Tennis tournament

Today at 6 p.m. is the deadline for entry in the 2006 Banana Open Tennis Tournament, which will be held April 19-22 at the Petersburg Racquet Club in Martinez. Divisions are Men's and Women's Singles and Doubles and Mixed Doubles from 2.5 through open divisions. Winners from each will qualify for the Banana Open Challenge in Hilton Head Island, S.C., in October. Entry forms are available at all CSRA tennis facilities at www.prctennis.com. Volleyball camp
Registration is open for the Seventh Annual Greenbrier High School Volleyball Camp. The camp will run June 4-7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $70, and applications can be found on the GHS Web site at www. greenbrierathletics.net. The first 45 paid applicants will be accepted. Bicycle ride
The 2007 Best Dam Ride Reloaded will take place at Clarks Hill Lake at 8:30 a.m. April 22. The multi-option ride will begin at the dam and end at the Clarks Hill picnic area. Registration costs $30 per person, which includes a T-shirt, breakfast and a goody bag. All proceeds will benefit the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation. Golf tournament
The inaugural Knights Football Golf Tournament is scheduled for May 20 at the Gordon Lakes Golf Course. Registration and lunch will begin at 11 a.m., with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The captain's choice tournament costs $200 per team or $50 per player, with an awards presentation after the game. Volleyball camp
Augusta Prep's fifth annual summer volleyball camps will take place June 25-29. The middle school session (grades 5-8) will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and the high school session (grades 9-12) will run from 1 to 4 p.m. The cost is $100 and includes a camp T-shirt.
