The office of the Columbia County Clerk of Court will be closed Friday for Good Friday.

New church

North Columbia Church, pastored by the Rev. Dan White, will hold its inaugural worship service at 9 a.m. Easter Sunday at the Eubank Blanchard Community Center. For information, call White at (706) 832-0986.

Relay concert

The Jeremy Graham Band will perform a benefit concert for the American Cancer Society from 2-7 p.m. Saturday at 292 Meadows Road, in Harlem. Admission is $5 per person donation, with children younger than 12 free. Patrons should bring blankets or lawn chairs; concessions will be available. No coolers allowed. Sunrise services

- A community sunrise service will be held at 7 a.m. Sunday at the Columbia County Amphitheater, in Evans, with co-hosts First Baptist Church of Evans and The Quest, Mosaic and Covenant United Methodist churches. - Bible Cathedral, at 1116 Furys Ferry Road, will hold an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. Sunday, followed by a continental breakfast, Sunday school at 9:15 a.m. and worship at 10:30 a.m. For information, call (706) 863-7090.

- Easter sunrise services will be held at 6:30 a.m. Sunday on Fort Gordon's Barton Field. The speaker will be Chaplain (Col.) Gordon Groseclose, chaplain at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. The service will be canceled if it rains.
