Erin D. Beasley, a third-year early speech communication major at the University of Georgia, has been named president of the executive board of the Panhellenic Council. Beasley is a 2004 graduate of Evans High School and is the daughter of Dean and Laraine Beasley. Her other campus activities include membership in Palladia, a women's honor society. She is a member of the Order of Omega, representing the top 1 percent of students in the Greek system, and she was named Miss Sorority Row 2006. Beasley also serves as an official UGA ambassador through the Arch Society.

Michael J. Sizemore Jr. was recognized for making both the Dean's and President's List with a 4.0 grade average for the fall semester. On Feb. 11, he was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. He is a business major and a 2006 graduate of Greenbrier High School.
