Big yard sale

First Baptist Church of Evans will hold its inaugural community yard sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 3 (March 10 in case of rain) at the church, on Belair Road at Washington Road. Vendors sought

Jazz series

Tickets are on sale for Columbia County's "Sounds of Jazz" series, which begins 7 p.m. March 9 with Julia Easterlin at the Jabez Sanford Hardin Performing Arts Center. Additional performances will be held on the next three Friday evenings, March 16, 23 and 30. Series tickets cost $30; individual tickets cost $10.
