Hoops tourney

A Relay for Life three-on-three basketball tournament will be held at 10 a.m. March 24 at the Harlem Middle School gym.

The tournament is a double-elimination format, costs $25 and includes a T-shirt.

Registration is due by March 3, and the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

Baseball opening

The Outlaws 13U tournament/traveling team is seeking three players to add to its roster.

Registration

The CSRA Community Sports League is holding open basketball and football registration for boys and girls of all ages.

The basketball season will run from April through July, and the football season will begin in August.

Volleyball clinic

The CSRA Heat Volleyball Club will hold developmental clinics for girls in grades 5-11 on Sundays from 5-7 p.m. through March 25.

The clinics will be held in the Boardman Athletic Center at Augusta Preparatory Day School. The cost is $160.

Umpire meetings

The Augusta Baseball Umpires Association is recruiting umpires for the high school season. Experience is a plus, but playing experience, knowledge of the game and a desire to participate are also helpful. Classroom and onfield training will be provided. The association will meet Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Westside High School auditorium.
