New Hardy hours

Harlem's Laurel and Hardy Museum has new hours of operation. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. The museum is closed Sundays and Mondays. For information, call (706) 556-0401.

Movie series

Musical planned

Thee Youth Troupe of Enopion, a Bible-based theater company, is seeking children ages 9-13 for its first musical, The Animals on a Gopher Boat, for rehearsals starting at 5 p.m. Friday at 3208 Mike Padgett Highway, in Augusta. Auto auction

The Salvation Army will hold its first-quarter auto auction at 10 a.m. Feb. 3 at the shelter at 1384 Greene St. Registration and inspection will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 and 2, with registration only from 8-10 a.m. on the morning of the auction. Free movie

Prayer breakfast

Author and businessman Glenn Thomas will be the speaker for Fort Gordon's observance of the National Prayer Breakfast at 6:30 a.m. Feb. 6 at the Gordon Club.
