Musical planned

Thee Youth Troupe of Enopion, a biblically based theater company, is seeking children ages 9-13 for its first musical, The Animals on a Gopher Boat, for rehearsals at 5 p.m. Friday at 3208 Mike Padgett Highway, in Augusta. Easter Seals event

Red Cross training

The American Red Cross of Augusta will hold a lifeguard training course from Tuesday to Feb. 2 on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Family Y on Wheeler Road.
