New Harlem officials installed

Harlem City Council recently installed new city officials.

Mayor Russell L. Clary and council members Marvin E. Carter, Jeff T. Little, James B. Lewis and LeGrand A. Van Keuren were sworn into office with oaths administered by G.B. Pollard Jr., clerk of Columbia County Superior Court.

New Lions Club

The Harlem Lions Club was organized at a meeting held Tuesday, Jan. 11, 1972, in the Methodist Church fellowship hall.

Officers elected were Henry B. McNorrill, president; Charles F. Pope, first vice president; Lionel N. Rabun, secretary-treasurer; and J. Paschall Price, tail twister.
