Volleyball clinic

The CSRA Heat Volleyball Club will hold developmental clinics for girls in grades 5-11 on Sundays from 5-7 p.m. through March 25. Basketball tryouts

The Augusta Power traveling AAU/YBOA boys basketball team will conduct tryouts for the 2007 season in January and February. Boys ages 11-14 (grades 5-8) are invited to participate. For more information, call coach Greg Williams at (706) 533-6852 or visit www.augustapower.org.

Officials needed

The Greater Augusta Soccer Officials Association, in conjunction with the Georgia High School Association, will conduct a clinic Jan. 27 to certify high school soccer officials for the 2007 season. The clinic will be conducted at 10 a.m. at Evans High School. Umpire Camp

The CSRA Baseball Umpires Camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 27 at Westside High School. The camp will feature major league baseball umpires Marvin Hudson and Fieldin Culbreth and is open to the experienced amateur or beginning umpire.
