Harlem Masons name officers

At a December meeting of the Harlem Masonic Lodge, the following officers were elected for 1957:

H.O. Tucker was elected worshipful master. Other appointed and elected officers are K.J. Welch, senior warden; J.R. Cabe, junior warden; U.O. Hines, treasurer; G.R. Kimberly, secretary; R.T. Hardy, chaplain; J.J. Miles, tyler; R.G. Sucker, S.D.; S.T. McLendon, J.D.; Hugh Camp, S.S.; and D.F. Linnenkohl, J.S.

Schools reopen

Columbia County schools reopened for work on Monday morning, Jan. 7.

The generous holiday has been employed in recreation, catching up on loose ends at home, resting, and looking forward to an even greater effort in the months to come.
