Gospel concert

'Lights' still on

Saturday is the last day to see the annual Lights of the South display that runs from 6-10 p.m. each day. The display is located off the Appling-Harlem Highway I-20 exit, near Grovetown. For information, call (706) 825-6441.

New Year's dance

American Legion Post 194, in Lincolnton, will hold a New Year's dance starting at 8:30 p.m. Saturday featuring the band Brasstyme. Cost is $15 per person, with breakfast included. For information, call (706) 359-3445.

Fire meeting

The annual meeting of Martinez-Columbia Fire Rescue will be held at fire department headquarters, 3910 Desoto Drive, in Martinez, at 7 p.m. Tuesday. An audit will be submitted for approval, the 2007 budget will be discussed and two members will be elected to the Board of Trustees. For information, call (706) 863-7745.
