Christmas Eve services set

- West Acres Baptist Church will hold Christmas Eve services at 9:30 a.m. today. The church is located at 555 Gibbs Road, in Evans.

- Bible Cathedral, at 1116 Furys Ferry Road, in Evans, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m. today.

- Covenant United Methodist Church, a new congregation meeting at Greenbrier Elementary School, will hold a candlelight communion Christmas Eve service from 5:30-6 p.m. today.

- Church of the Holy Comforter, which meets at Savannah Rapids Pavilion, will hold a Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m., with a Children's Christmas pageant and a brass and wind ensemble.

- The Quest Church will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight worship service at 6 p.m. today. The church meets at 4020 Washington Road, in Martinez, across Flowing Wells Road from Gerald Jones Auto Mall in Columbia Square.

- Christ the King Lutheran Church, at 4232 Evans to Locks Road will hold Christmas Eve services with a traditional service at 10 a.m., a family service at 7 p.m. and a candlelight service at 11 p.m.

- The Sanctuary, meeting at Riverside Baptist Church, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 1:30 p.m. today.

- Journey Community Church, which meets at Lewiston Elementary School, will hold Christmas Eve services at 10 a.m.

'Lights' on

The annual Lights of the South Christmas lights display runs from 6-10 p.m. each day through Dec. 30. The display is located off Interstate 20's Appling-Harlem Highway exit, near Grovetown. For information, call (706) 825-6441.
