Rifle tournament

Evans and Lakeside High Schools' JROTC shooting teams will participate in the inaugural American Legion Sporter Class Rifle Tournament on Wednesday. The event begins at noon at American Legion Post 63, 90 Milledge Road, Augusta. Spectator admission is by donation. Refreshments will be available. Baseball umpires clinic

A USSSA baseball umpires clinic will be held Jan. 20 at Citizens Park in Aiken from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The clinic will be conducted by South Carolina USSSA UIC James Smith. Soccer alumni matches

The Lakeside High School soccer program will hold alumni matches at 2 p.m. today at Panther Stadium. Former Lakeside High School men and women soccer players are invited, along with any former player from the CSRA. Cost to play is $25 and includes a T-shirt and catered food from Fatz Cafe. All proceeds will support the Jenny Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund.
