County's Adopt-a-Stream program will hold a workshop on Saturday

Columbia County Adopt-a-Stream consists of dedicated volunteers of all ages working with the state, local government and citizens interested in keeping our local streams in good health. We will hold a Getting Started/Update Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Martinez-Columbia Fire Rescue Oakley-Pirkle Road fire station, followed by lunch and a field trip to Euchee Creek. Clerical, research, and organizing skills beyond field activities are needed, too.
