Red Cross classes
The American Red Cross of Augusta will hold adult CPR and automatic external defibrillator training 6-9 p.m. Monday and first aid training 6-9 p.m. Tuesday. A CPR, first aid and AED instructor training course will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Wednesday. A disaster assessment training course will be held from 6-10 p.m. Dec. 5. Hope Soap, a private, nonprofit agency that collects toiletries and packages and distributes them to area shelters, has collection sites in the community.
