Red Cross classes

The American Red Cross of Augusta is holding the following training sessions during November:

- Adult CPR and AED, Nov. 27, 6-9 p.m. at the chapter office.

- First aid, Nov. 28, 6-9 p.m. at the chapter office.

Exchange 'rush'

The Columbia County Exchange Club will hold a membership drive and rush party from 4:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at Southern Industries' new showroom on Bobby Jones Expressway. 'Lights' turns on

The annual Lights of the South Christmas lights display opens 6 p.m. Tuesday, and runs until 10 p.m. each day through Dec. 30 The display is located off Interstate 20's Appling-Harlem Highway exit, near Grovetown. For information, call (706) 825-6441.

Lincoln festival

The Ninth Annual Holidays in Olde Lincoln Towne Festival, in Lincolnton, Ga., continues with the community Thanksgiving service at 7 tonight at Lincolnton United Methodist Church; the holidays festival from noon to 6 p.m. Dec. 2, with the parade at 3 p.m.; and breakfast with legislators at 8 a.m. Dec. 7.
