Evans 21, Wayne County 14
The Knights wrapped up the 2006 season with a 4-6 record after a region road win over Wayne County in their final game. Quarterback Kevin Millward once again led the scoring, with two touchdown passes that proved to be the difference in the game. The first airstrike went for 29 yards to Chris Bryson to complete a 14-0 first-quarter lead. The second touchdown pass landed in the hands of Jonathan Nicely for a 50-yard score in the fourth quarter. Evans' Trey Henderson ran 35 yards to the end zone for the first score of the game.
Harlem 35, Cross Creek 14
For the second week, two Harlem tailbacks rushed for 100 yards each. The result was a 21-point Harlem victory to end the 2006 season. Senior Barry St. John rushed for 139 yards on 22 carries, and Trey Crain added another 139 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns. The Bulldogs racked up 331 yards and scored all five of their touchdowns on the ground. The win ended Harlem's season with a 4-6 overall record.
