Baseball clinic

The Augusta Baseball Clinic will take place at Lake Olmstead Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 18, for students in grades 7-12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Major League Baseball players Tim Drew and Stephen Drew and Cincinnati Reds pitching coach Tom Hume and several Major League Baseball draft picks will be on hand as instructors. Basketball registration

The CSRA basketball league is holding open registration for boys and girls ages 5-24. Games will be played at the Patriots Park gymnasium from March through July. Cheerleading spots are also available for girls of all ages. For information, call Dustin Leverett at (706) 651-8816 or (706) 627-5407.

Rowing tryouts

The Augusta Junior Rowing Team will conduct spring tryouts on Nov. 15-17 and Jan. 8-10 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Augusta Boathouse at 101 Riverfront Drive.
