Prep info session

Augusta Prep will hold an admission information session for the Lower School, preschool through fourth grade, at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, including classroom visits and tours of the campus and new facilities. For reservations, call Rosie Hermann at (706) 863-1906.

Open house

An open house to provide information on Grovetown's Comprehensive Plan will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall. For information, call (706) 863-4576.

Spooky drive

The annual It's Spooky to be Hungry food drive will be held in most Columbia County neighborhoods Saturday. The office of The Columbia County News-Times is a drop-off site for nonperishable food and toiletry items, along with donations for Golden Harvest Food Bank. Donations will be accepted Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Pumpkin patch

Wesley United Methodist Church is holding its annual pumpkin patch in front of the church, on North Belair Road, through Oct. 31. Proceeds from the pumpkin patch go to missions. For information, call Linda Jolley at (706) 869-0888, or e-mail linda@wesleyumc.net.
