Lakeside raffle
The Lakeside Panther Athletic Association will hold its third annual raffle at 7 p.m. Nov. 10 at the school. Tickets cost $100 each, and only 300 tickets will be sold. The winner will receive $10,000. A steak dinner for two will be provided at the raffle with the purchase of a ticket, and more than 50 door prizes will be given away during the dinner. Coats wanted
Augusta Urban Ministries is seeking donations of coats, sweaters and heaters for homeless and low-income families. Donations are accepted at the AUM warehouse at 303 Hale St., 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday through Oct. 31. For information, call (706) 722-8195.

Car show
The Knights of Columbus Council 8495 third annual car show will be held Saturday at Evans High School. Vehicle registration costs $25 the day of the show. Spectator tickets cost $2, and include one vote ballot for judging. The event includes concessions, crafts, raffles and other drawings.
