Second Amendment will be among casualties of Democrat takeover

If the Democratic Party takes over Congress in the November elections, America will forever radically be changed from today's society.

- Democratic extreme left wing congressional members, consisting of Nancy Pelosi (San Francisco), Ted Kennedy (Massachusetts), Chuck Schumer and Charlie Rangel ( New York), John Connors (Michigan) and others of this ilk will immediately attack the civil liberties we all currently enjoy. They will impose pro-homosexual, pro-lesbian, pro-man/boy/love relationships on all of us. Is this the "new direction" we keep hearing about?

- The Second Amendment in our Constitution and encapsulated in the Bill of Rights will be virtually erased.

How? By making gun ownership so onerous, costly and at a huge cost of individual freedom due to government requirements and snooping. The average gun owner will become ensnarled in state/federal laws, making it virtually impossible to store a weapon in one's home; concealed weapons permits will cease to exist and ammunition will become extremely hard to buy; all ammunition sales over the Internet will be prohibited.

This will be accomplished through federal and state legislature, and by putting judges with the same elitist attitude on benches throughout America. The judges placed in our court system during the Carter and Clinton administrations are the same judges today who are soft on pedophiles, child molesters and sexual abusers; their attitude towards these perverts is appalling! Criminals with repeated convictions are released time and again onto society. These same judges are also anti-gun ownership; imagine an unarmed American society for criminals to prey upon.

- The impeachment of President Bush will get off to a running start. In fact, it'll be a close race whether to start the impeachment process first or to leaving Iraq to its own survival by withdrawing the troops and cutting financial supports pledged to Iraq by President Bush.

- Iraq will suffer the fate of short-sighted politics and be left dangling in the wind; Iraq will be engulfed by Iranian and Iraqi extremists, becoming a terrorist super-nation, thus Israel becomes a nation at risk of obliteration. North Korea and Venezuela are heating up, too.

Politicians are people, subject to corruption and personal flaws; this is a sad fact of life. That power corrupts there is no doubt. But, leaving that aside, the Democrats keep talking about "changing the course," "setting new goals," "new directions," etc, without once stating specifically what their plans for America are. They have been very careful to avoid these issues, never once mentioning gun control.

Folks, if the Second Amendment can be erased by the government, then every Constitutional freedom can be erased. Please think carefully when you vote in these November elections.
