Williams, not Roper, is the 'right man for the position' in superior court

Frank Spears almost had it right (letter, Oct. 15, Roper "exemplifies our conservative values' in race for judge"). There are indeed some outstanding men vying to be the next Superior Court judge. He just picked the wrong one.

Bill Williams is the right choice. He is a solid family man with conservative values and more courtroom experience than the other candidates combined. An absolute winning combination!

Williams and his wife Brenda have been married for more than 32 years. Together they have raised two esteemed daughters. Williams has been on the front side of the bench for more than 35 years. His experiences in the courtroom and in raising his daughters (I know - I have two of my own!), during the course of these years, will be invaluable in his application of the law on the other side of the bench.

I have known Williams for many years and I know he is the right man for the position. A superior court judge is responsible for making the right decisions under the law.

Bill Williams: family man, conservative ideals, experience - there is no better choice.
