Golf tournament

The 2006 Evans baseball team's fall fundraiser will be held today at Gordon Lakes Golf Course. The entry fee is $50 per player with a shotgun start at 12:45 p.m. The tournament will be a captain's choice format and lunch will be provided. Bike rodeo

The MCG Children's Medical Center and Kohl's Cares for Kids will hold a bike rodeo in the parking lot of Kohl's in Mullins Crossing, in Evans, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, with T-shirts given to the first 100 children. For more information, call Rene Hopkins at (706) 721-7606.

Pink Ribbon Run

Club volleyball

An organizational meeting for the CSRA HEAT Volleyball Club will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 29 in the Boardman Gymnasium at Augusta Preparatory Day School in Martinez. Girls in grades 6-12 and their parents are encouraged to attend. There is a $50 registration fee. Tryouts will be held the first two Sundays in November.
