Military Milestones

- Air Force Airman 1st Class Paul S. Walker, a 2002 graduate of Hephzibah High School and son of Dorothy Walker, of Augusta, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

- Army Pvt. Denica D. Collins, a 1994 graduate of Butler High School and daughter of Tom Collins III, of Hephzibah, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia.

- Air Force Airman 1st Class Jeremy K. Van Valkenburgh, son of Billy and Sandra Van Valkenburgh, of Martinez, and a 2004 graduate of Lakeside High School and a 2006 graduate of the Georgia Military College, Augusta, where he earned an associate's degree, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

- Marine Pfc. Stewart W. Lundquist, a 2006 graduate of Hephzibah High School and son of Ronda Lundquist, of Augusta, has graduated from basic training at Parris Island, S.C.

- Army Pfc. Sytavia S. Lundy, a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and daughter of Janet Lundy, of Hephzibah, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia.
