Softball tryouts

The Georgia Rockers fastpitch softball organization will be holding its annual 12U and 14U tryouts for the fall 2006/summer 2007 teams. The tryouts will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Patriots Parks softball complex. Baseball tournaments

Atomic City Sports will hold two USSSA baseball tournaments at Citizens Park in Aiken for ages 8-16. The A-Town ThrowDown USSSA baseball tournament will take place today, and the Georgia-Lina Boo Ball NIT will be Oct. 27-29. Golf tournament

The 2006 Evans Baseball team's fall fundraiser will be held Oct. 8 at Gordon Lakes Golf Course. Entry fee is $50 per player with a shotgun start at 12:45 p.m. The tournament will be a captain's choice format and lunch will be provided. Call coach Ricky Beale at (706) 868-3663, ext. 240.

Traveling baseball

The Outlaws 13U traveling/tournament baseball team is looking for two new players. Eligible players must not turn 14 before May 1. Call Robert at (706) 840-1066.

Soccer program needs players

Basketball registration
