Oct. 10 is the deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 7 General Election. Voter registration drives will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Oliver Hardy Festival in Harlem, and at the Kmart on Washington Road in Martinez. Red Cross classes
The American Red Cross of Augusta will hold the following training sessions during October:
Adult CPR, AED and first aid, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the chapter office, 1322 Ellis St., Augusta, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 28 at Patriots Park.
Adult CPR and AED, Oct. 9 and 23, 6-9 p.m. at the chapter office.
