Deputies found no signs of forced entry to the home; however, a window was not secured because of prior damage.

Burglary at Evans restaurant

Employees of an Evans fast-food restaurant told deputies they discovered a broken drive-through window and cash missing when they reported to work early Tuesday.

Deputies arrived at the Hardee's at 4360 Washington Road at about 4:30 a.m. and employees said they found the broken window. The general manager of the store told deputies that an unknown amount of money was stolen from the store.

Motorcycle stolen in Harlem

A Harlem woman told deputies Monday that someone stole a motorcycle from her yard.

The 39-year-old from the 1400 block of Country Woods Lane told deputies she last saw the 2006 Baha 90cc dirt bike in her yard with a flat tire Sept. 17. When she came home Monday afternoon, she found tools taken from around her home near where the bike had been.

The woman said she suspects that someone used the tools to fix the motorcycle and then stole it. She also told deputies that two chain saws and a beagle puppy have gone missing from her yard in the past month.

Televisions reported stolen at Wal-Mart

A manager of the Evans Wal-Mart Supercenter told deputies Monday that three people stole two televisions from the store.

The manager told deputies that two suspects took a Sanyo 20-inch television and a 26-inch Sony television out a fire exit, loaded the electronics into a small sedan driven by a third person and fled the scene.

Deputies recovered video surveillance tapes at the scene. No description of the suspects was given.
