Evans volleyball takes first loss

The final undefeated volleyball team in Columbia County fell last weekend at Greenbrier's play day. Evans, which entered Saturday's game against Lakeside at a perfect 14-0, dropped its third game of the day to the Lady Panthers 25-11, 25-21. The Lady Knights rebounded with a 2-0 win over Greenbrier immediately after the match.

The Lady Wolfpack defeated Lakeside earlier in the day, and all three teams came away with 1-1 records against their Columbia County rivals.
