Volunteers needed
The Augusta-area AARP Tax-Aide program is seeking applications from volunteers to help seniors and others with income tax preparation. A seven- to 10-day training course will be held in December and January for volunteers, who must assist filers at least four hours per week Feb. 1-April 15. Children month
Georgia first lady Mary Perdue will speak at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 2230 Walton Way, in Augusta, at Child Enrichment's Champion our Children Month event from 9-11 a.m. Thursday. 'Titans' coach
