Golf tournament

The second annual Tony Molini Memorial Golf Tournament will take place Sept. 30 at the Gordon Lakes Golf Course in Fort Gordon. The tournament is being sponsored by the Augusta Nuclear Technology Society and requires a $50 registration fee that includes 18 holes of golf and lunch.

Basketball registration

A new basketball league for boys and girls ages 5-24 is holding open registration. Games will be played at Greenbrier High School from Jan. 13 through July. For information, call Dustin Leverett at (706) 651-8816.

Fall classic

The fourth annual Doctors Hospital Boy Scouts Fall Golf Classic will be held at Bartram Trail Golf Club in Grovetown on Thursday, Sept. 28. Registration for the tournament, which will be played in the Lauderdale format, starts at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start.

Patriot Day

The Patriot Day Golf Tournament will be held Monday at Mount Vintage Plantation Golf Club in North Augusta to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Registration and lunch will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12 p.m. The tournament will follow a shamble format and a four-player team will cost $1,000.
