Debbie Postell ends Queen reign
Miss Columbia County Fair Queen Debbie Postell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Postell, will soon end her reign.
It was announced this week by the Martinez Merchants Ladies Auxiliary that the 1973 Miss Columbia County Fair Beauty Review will be held at South Columbia Elementary School in Martinez.
The contest is open to ladies of Columbia County that are from 16 through 20 years old. Contestants must be sponsored by a merchant. The new fair queen will reign over the Columbia County Fair Oct. 1-6, 1973.
Harlem receives park donation
Francis W. Tracy, president of Tracy-Luckey Co. in Harlem, donated $5,000 to the development of Harlem City Park on Aug. 21.
