Board chairman's welcome

On behalf of the Board of Education, let me take this opportunity to welcome you to another school year in Columbia County.

Through the cooperative efforts of our students, parents, business partners and employees of the system, we continue to enjoy one of the best educational systems in the state.

We have experienced tremendous growth over the past year and anticipate the same this year. While this places quite a burden on the system and the taxpayers of Columbia County, the community continues to step up and provide what is needed for the education of our children.

As a board, we are grateful for the support, and we thank you.
