Home school baseball
The CSRA Crusaders home school baseball team is looking for players to fill middle school, junior varsity and varsity rosters. Boys attending a private school with no baseball program also may try out. The Crusaders will hold an eight-week baseball camp for elementary-age boys starting in September. Traveling team
The Columbia County Stealth, an U-12 baseball team, is seeking new players. Pitching or catching experience is beneficial. The new season begins Aug. 1, and eligible players must not turn 13 before May 1. For information, call Ernie Murray at (706) 288-8117.
Volleyball workouts
Initial workouts for the Lakeside varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday and from 3:30-5:30 p.m. July 31-Aug. 4 at the Lakeside gym. Players should bring a copy of a physical form and insurance information. For information, call (706) 863-0027.
Golf camp

Football camp
The sixth annual Football-R-Us clinic and conditioning camp for pupils in grades 4-8 will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and Aug. 1, 3 and 4 at Lakeside High School. Volleyball clinics
