It's more than red, white and blue
//
Adam Rogers, 10, a pupil at Stevens Creek Elementary, wrote about the Fourth of July:
The Fourth of July is more than red, white and blue. It's not just games and parties. Here's my point of view ...
The Fourth of July is about remembering the people that died for us, the freedom we have and the people who serve in our military. Just think about our first war ... we were outnumbered 5 to 1, yet we won! We owe our lives to them.
Next time you think of the Fourth of July, remember the people who served America, because you are honoring them.
