Evans brothers open processing plant for milk

Brothers Buddy and Donald Tankersley of Evans are co-owners of a milk processing plant that is under construction on Belair Road in Evans.

The plant is scheduled to be opened with full operation by Sept. 1. The two brothers want to process their own milk in the plant, therefore ultra-modern equipment is being installed to meet sanitization requirements.

After developing a market for their own product, the brothers intend to purchase from other producers in the local area.
