Cross is 'a well-respected man of integrity,' should be re-elected chairman

Once again, I am asking the people of Columbia County to join me in supporting Ron Cross for re-election as chairman of the Board of Commissioners.

Ron has shown during the past three and half years that he is truly dedicated and sincere in his service to the citizens of Columbia County. While performing the duties as chairman, he has acquired a wide range of knowledge and experience, giving tirelessly of his time and energy. I believe with his wisdom and leadership abilities, he is the only candidate seeking this position who is qualified to lead Columbia County forward in a positive way.

With continued growth in the county, he is someone we know we can depend on to represent everyone. He works well with the legislative delegation and the other commissioners, as well as the various county departments to best serve all the citizens of Columbia County.

I am personally very proud of the way Ron has served as chairman. As someone working for the people, he has proven that he will stand strong for the county on tough and unpopular issues as they arise. I have known Ron for more than 30 years, and he is a well-respected man of character and integrity. Please show your appreciation for a job well done by re-electing Ron Cross as chairman of the Columbia County Commission on July 18.
