FireBall game
The Augusta FireBall, a Premier Development League soccer team, will play host to the Nashville Metros today at 7 p.m. at Patriots Park. The CSRA Heat Volleyball Club will hold Sunday Summer Clinics from 2-4 p.m. through July 30 at Augusta Preparatory Day School. Augusta Lynx player Dan Sullivan is inviting hockey fans and enthusiasts to join him for the annual "Come and get it!" Hockey Clinic at The Augusta Ice Forum the week of July 10-14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hockey school is a structured, safe format exclusively to foster the overall development of young hockey players in a fun and challenging environment. Participants will receive pointers from coaching staff and players in the NHL, ECHL and AHL. Daily sessions will consist of three on-ice lessons, two dry-land lessons and one class video lesson. YMCA summer golf camps will run through the month of July for boys and girls ages 6-17. Each four-day camp will take place Mondays-Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bartram Trail Golf Course. Camp for ages 6-9 will be July 24-27, ages 10-13 will be July 17-20 and ages 14-17 will be July 10-13. A limited supply of equipment will be available, but campers are urged to bring their own clubs.
