Outstanding players deserve places on teams

Posted: Sunday, June 11, 2006

It was a crazy year for Columbia County soccer. Greenbrier flirted with perfection, Evans pulled off the upset of the year and Lakeside knocked off a top seed in the state tournament. Harlem competed for another region title and made a state tournament appearance, while Augusta Prep gave coach Doug Williamson a proper send-off with a trip to the Georgia Independent School Association quarterfinals.

With all the success, the boys deserve recognition. Here is the 2006 Columbia County News-Times All-County Boy's Soccer Teams.
