Golf classic

Columbia County Chamber of Commerce Small Business Classic will be held on Monday at Jones Creek Golf Club. Shotgun start is at 11 a.m. and cost to play is $60. For information call Terra Carroll at (706) 860-4735.

Middle school basketball camps

The Sure Shot Basketball Camp for boys entering grades 6-9 will be from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at Lakeside Middle and June 12-16 at Riverside Middle. Each camp costs $80. For boys and girls entering grades 2-5, camps run from 9 a.m. to noon Monday-Friday, June 12-16 and June 24-28. Each weeklong camp costs $75 and will take place at Lakeside Middle. Baseball showcase

The Georgia Dugout Club and USA Baseball are sponsoring the 2006 Georgia Underclassmen Showcase for upcoming 10th-, 11th- and 12th-grade baseball players. The showcase will take place at 10 colleges throughout the state and will come to Augusta State University on June 14. Cost to participate is $100. At least 32 colleges and 21 major league organizations will be on hand at the event. The top 100 players from around the state will compete at Kennesaw State on July 8 and 9 in a four-team all-star tournament. For more information or to register go to www.georgia dugoutclub.com

Volleyball camp

The sixth annual Wolfpack Volleyball Camp will be held Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Greenbrier High School. The camp is open to girls in grades 6-9 and costs $65, which includes a camp T-shirt. Call coach Debbie Born at (706) 650-6043.
