Hampden-Sydney College Dean's List

Nathan E. Huff, a senior at Hampden-Sydney College, was named to the Dean's List for the first semester of the 2005-06 academic year. Nathan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward W. Huff of Martinez.

Duke University fall Dean's List

Alex Crean, son of Diane and Kevin Crean of Martinez, has been named to the Dean's List at Duke University for the fall semester. He is a biology major who plans to graduate in 2008. Alex is a 2004 graduate of Augusta Preparatory Day School.

Northeastern University fall Dean's List

Katelin Farrell of Martinez, a Northeastern University student majoring in theater, was recently named to the university's Dean's List for the fall semester of 2005.

University of South Carolina Dean's List

The following have been named recently to the fall Dean's List at the University of South Carolina: John Oliver Ellis, Carly Leah Jackson and Jennifer Savannah Keaton, of Evans; Brendan Joseph Alberts, of Grovetown; and Rafik Reda Bassali, Ryan Thomas Herald, Miriam Lee Lentz and Stephen Casey Newman, of Martinez.

Limestone grads

Karen Elaine Moore and Shaun Alexander Brooks, both of Martinez, recently graduated from Limestone College.

College of William & Mary Dean's List

Caroline Michelle Dainer of Evans was named to the dean's list for the fall. To get on the list, a full-time undergraduate student in the School of Arts and Sciences must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.6 grade-point average during the semester.

Brevard graduate

Elizabeth Muriel Watson of Evans recently completed the academic requirements to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in integrated studies.

Student's art displayed at Wofford College

The artwork of Rebecca Koger was featured in an exhibit in the Sandor Teszler Library earlier this year. The exhibit was made of drawings by students in the course Interim 322: The Practice and Theory of Drawing.
