Harlem shopping

Harlem's monthly First Saturday, Shop Harlem will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 3, with the theme Red Hat Lady Day. For information, call Jean Dove at (706) 556-0043.

Mistletoe events

Mistletoe State Park, in Winfield, will hold the following events in June:

- Critters in our H2O: Staffers will lead a hike to one of the park's creeks or inlets for a study of animal life from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 3.

- Mountain Dulcimer Workshop: An introduction to the mountain dulcimer. Participants may bring their own instrument for instruction from 10 a.m. to noon June 17.

The only cost for each event is $3 per vehicle for parking. For information, call (706) 541-0321.

White Oak meeting

The summer meeting at White Oak Campground, on White Oak Road at the McDuffie County line, will be held June 18-23 with services at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. each day. A history tour of the campground will be held at 3:30 p.m. June 20 and 24.

Grief support

Portsbridge Hospice holds a free grief support group at 6 p.m. every other Tuesday at the hospice, at 1365 Interstate Parkway, in Augusta.
