Golf classic
The Augusta Eagle Club's Georgia Southern Golf Classic will take place May 18 at Bartram Trail Golf Club. Cost is $75 per player and Georgia Southern football coach Brian Van Gorder will be playing and speaking afterward. Lunch will be catered by Locos Deli & Pub. Format is Captain's Choice best ball. Volleyball camp
Augusta Prep's fourth annual Summer Volleyball Camp will be June 12-16. There will be two sessions: middle school (grades 5-8) from 9 a.m. to noon, and high school (grades 9-12) from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $100 and includes a camp T-shirt. Basketball camp

Rowing camp
The Augusta Rowing Club Junior Program is holding a Learn to Row camp at the boathouse in Augusta on June 19-23 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cost of the camp is $85, which includes a T-shirt and $50 reduction in fall season dues. For information, go to augustarowingclub.org or call (706) 432-0022.
College basketball camp
The Dip Metress Basketball Academy will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 19-23 at Augusta State University. ASU men's basketball coach Dip Metress will direct the camp open to boys and girls from grades 1-7. Cost of the camp is $150, which includes a daily lunch and official camp T-shirt. Basketball camp
Final applications are being evaluated for the Ten Star All-Star Summer Basketball Camp. The camp, which is held at 18 locations around the nation, including Gainesville, Ga., is by invitation only and includes boys and girls ages 10-19. For a free brochure, call (704) 373-0873.
Golf tournament
The 41st annual North Augusta Country Club/Sertoma Junior Invitational Golf Tournament will be held June 20-22 at North Augusta Country Club. The 54-hole medal play tournament is limited to the first 100 entries ages 11-18 who qualify. The entry fee is $40 and includes practice round and annual banquet. Cheerleading camp
The Greenbrier Cheerpack is offering a Greenbrier "Pep" School on June 19-21 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for interested cheerleaders in pre-K through eighth grade. Cost is $75 or $60 before June 1, which includes a daily snack, T-shirt, and admission and dinner at a varsity game.
