Basic training graduates

Army Pvt. Anthony C. Trujillo has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Mary Flohr, of Grovetown.

Air Force Airman Bran-don Emory has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. Emory is the son of Delphenia Emory, of Harlem, and is a 2005 graduate of Harlem High School.

Navy Seaman Recruit Joshua Cox, son of Vickie M. Cox, of Hephzibah, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Cox is a 2005 graduate of Harlem High School.

Army Pvt. Kristin Clements has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia. Clements is the daughter of Gary Anderson, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Stella Huckstep, of Martinez.

Navy Seaman Recruit Canton M. Pollard, son of Fallon C. and Ronald T. Pollard, of Martinez, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Youth Challenge grads

The following Columbia County teens have graduated from the National Guard-sponsored Youth Challenge Academy at Fort Stewart: Douglas M. Andreou, Justin C. Burrows and Katie L. King of Grovetown; Malcolm R. Drigger, Dustin L. Fenton, John P. Medina and Offie H. Trosper IV, of Evans; and Daniel R. Harris, William C. McDonald III, Raven D. Williams and Curtis Lee M. Thornton, of Martinez.
