Baseball camp

Middle school basketball camps
The Sure Shot Basketball Camp for boys entering grades 6-9 will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m. June 5-9 at Lakeside Middle and June 12-16 at Riverside Middle. Each camp costs $80. For boys and girls entering grades 2-5, camps run from 9 a.m. to noon June 5-9, June 12-16 and June 24-28. Each weeklong camp costs $75 and will take place at Lakeside Middle. Basketball camp
The 15th annual Evans High Basketball Camp will be held May 29-June 2 and June 26-30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The camp, open to boys and girls ages 6-14, costs $100 with a lunch or $85 if you bring your own lunch. Softball camp
Greenbrier High School will hold a fastpitch softball clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 30-June 2. The camp costs $80 ($60 for additional siblings) and includes snacks and a camp T-shirt. For information, call coach Garrett Black at (706) 863-8709 or the school office at (706) 650-6040.
Swim Team tryouts
The Glennwood Gators swim team is seeking swimmers ages 5-18. The team will have its first practice at the Evans Community Recreational Facility, formerly Glennwood Pool, on May 15 at 4:05 p.m. Swim team cost is $60 for members and $75 for nonmembers. For information, call (706) 860-6713.
Football camp
The Augusta Christian football program will hold the fifth annual Lions Football Camp on June 5-8 for children in grades 1-8. Volleyball camp
The sixth annual Wolfpack Volleyball Camp will be held June 6-9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Greenbrier High School. The camp is open to girls in grades 6-9 and costs $65, which includes a camp T-shirt. For information, call Coach Debbie Born at (706) 650-6043.
Summer sports camps
Aquinas High School is offering summer sports camps for students entering grades 5-8. The school will offer Basketball Camp (June 5-9), Baseball Camp (June 12-15), Cheerleading Camp (June 19-22), Volleyball Camp (June 26-30) and Soccer Camp (July 10-14). Limited space is available.
